Where the Wild Things Live (Animal Habitats) June 10th, 12th, 17th, & 19th 10am to 12pm/12:30pm In this two week session, your kiddo will attend four classes: Wildlife is Everywhere, Seed Need, Looking at Leaves, & Water Safari. In this fun and interactive class, your child will discover the amazing places where animals and plants live! Through hands-on activities, themed snacks, stories, and games, children will learn the difference between wild and domesticated animals, explore the magic of seeds and leaves, and discover how water, sunlight and other habitat features help living things grow and thrive. By the end of this session, your young explorer will have a deeper appreciation for nature and an understanding of what makes a habitat a perfect place to live. Come ready to be curious and explore Where the Wild Things Live! Growing Up WILD is an early childhood education program designed to nurture children's natural curiosity about nature and encourage them to explore wildlife and their environment. Through a diverse array of activities and experiences, Growing Up WILD lays a solid foundation for fostering positive attitudes towards the natural world, as well as essential social and academic skills. This summer, we are thrilled to have certified teacher, Tressa Street at honey hippo. leading this multi-award-winning curriculum. Developed by the Association of Fish and Wildlife, this program aligns with Head Start and NAEYC Accreditation Standards and serves as an excellent way to prepare your child for school or to keep their minds engaged and eager to learn throughout the summer!
