Creepy, Crawly, & Totally Cool! (Bugs) August 12th, 14th, 19th, & 21st 10am to 12pm/12:30pm In this two week session, your kiddo will attend four classes: Ants on Parade, In a Grasshopper's World, Spiderweb Wonders, & Wiggling Worms. Get ready to wiggle, hop, and crawl into the amazing world of bugs! In this fun and interactive class, young explorers will discover why ants work together, how grasshoppers jump so high, why spiders spin webs, and what makes worms so important for the earth. Through hands-on activities, sensory play, themed snacks, games, and stories, kids will get up close with these fascinating creatures, learning about their unique superpowers and the important roles they play in nature. Creepy, Crawly, and Totally Cool will help kids see that these tiny creatures aren’t scary – they’re incredible! Join us for a fun-filled adventure into the miniature world of bugs. Growing Up WILD is an early childhood education program designed to nurture children's natural curiosity about nature and encourage them to explore wildlife and their environment. Through a diverse array of activities and experiences, Growing Up WILD lays a solid foundation for fostering positive attitudes towards the natural world, as well as essential social and academic skills. This summer, we are thrilled to have certified teacher, Tressa Street at honey hippo. leading this multi-award-winning curriculum. Developed by the Association of Fish and Wildlife, this program aligns with Head Start and NAEYC Accreditation Standards and serves as an excellent way to prepare your child for school or to keep their minds engaged and eager to learn throughout the summer!
